| This course is designed to prepare
the student to pass the CompTIA A+ Certification exam
through daily review quizzes and a simulated A+ final exam.
Students are shown the hands-on practical skills by assembling
a PC that is necessary to becoming an entry-level computer service
technician. Instructor will assist students in making the arrangements
to take the A+ Certification exam off-site at an authorized
testing center.
The CompTIA A+ certification exam covers a broad range
of hardware and software technologies. This is a valuable
certification by itself with excellent job placement or job
enhancement opportunities. It is also is an ideal preparation
course for more advanced networking certifications including
Net+ and CCNA.
Suggested Prerequisites:
None
Two-week format: (48-hours) Two consecutive weeks;
Tues-Fri nights 4PM-8PM and
two Sats or Suns 8AM-5PM
One-week format: (48-hours) Mon-Sat 8AM-5PM
Note: We can tailor other classroom schedules for day, evening
and weekends.
