Registered BICSI and ACES Cabling Installers Program

Prepare for becoming a BICSI and ACES certified professional cable installer! Gain extensive industry knowledge of structured cabling systems and the hands-on skills necessary for proper cabling installation practices. The three- tier program offers a progressively challenging career path for those with little or no cabling experience in Level I to more qualified, experienced technicians in Levels II and III. These courses are designed for both technicians as well as for those desiring to obtain practical industry knowledge-with certification -of structured cabling systems.

Suggested Prerequisite: None

Two-week format: (40-hours) Two consecutive weeks; Mon-Thur or Tues-Fri nights 4PM-8PM and in-between Sat or Sun 8AM-5PM.
One-week format: (40-hours) Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM

Notes:
  • Optional on-site two-hour ACES certification exam fee add $100.00
  • Optional off-site four-hour BICSI written and practical certification exam fees of $100.00 for Level I Apprentice ($150.00 for Level II Installer and Level III Technician) plus approxmate proctoring fee charge of $100.00 per student paid to local authorized testing center ($200.00 - $250.00 total).
  • BICSI Apprentice Level I registration is valid for only two years and is not renewable. Maintaining BICSI certification requires; (1) completing the BICSI Level II or III courses and passing the respective exams, (2) completing the assigned tasks in the assigned OJT booklet, (3) proof of at least six months of cabling installation experience, and (4) 12 hours of continuing educational units (CEU's) from curriculums approved by BICSI.
  • ACES PDCI (Professional Data communications Cabling Professional) certification is valid for four years
